Corrections Policy
The Corridor is committed to factual accuracy. When errors occur we correct them promptly, transparently and without qualification. This page sets out how corrections are made and maintains a public record of all corrections issued.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
The Corridor makes every effort to verify data, statistics, institutional positions and factual claims before publication. Every issue is cross-referenced against primary sources including UN Tourism, the African Development Bank, IATA, Oxford Economics, national statistics offices and peer-reviewed academic literature. Where data is cited, the source and publication date are included.
We acknowledge that in a fast-moving geopolitical environment, facts can change after publication. Corrections are issued for factual errors only, not for analytical judgements, interpretations or forecasts that prove incorrect in hindsight. The Corridor's analysis is interpretive by design. Readers are advised to apply their own critical judgement.
How Corrections Are Made
Significant factual errors — incorrect statistics, misattributed quotes, wrong dates or named figures — are corrected in the body of the original article with a clearly marked correction notice indicating what was changed and when. The correction is also listed in the public log below.
Minor errors — spelling, punctuation and typographical errors that do not affect the meaning of the analysis — are corrected silently without a formal correction notice.
Analytical clarifications — where a framing requires additional context following reader feedback — are added as editor's notes at the end of the relevant section, clearly dated and distinguished from the original text.
Corrections do not alter the original publication date or the canonical URL of the article. The SEO record of the article is preserved intact. The correction notice is appended to the relevant section of the text.
How to Report an Error
If you believe The Corridor has published a factual error, we welcome the correction. Please email the editorial team with the specific claim you believe is incorrect, the correct information and your source. All error reports are reviewed within 48 hours.
